EventsRUs Terms & Agreement

Last updated: September 29, 2026

Welcome to EventsRUs. These Terms & Agreement ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the EventsRUs website and platform (the "Platform"), operated in the Philippines. By creating an account or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Platform.

1. What EventsRUs is

EventsRUs is a directory and marketplace that connects event planners ("Planners") with independent event suppliers ("Suppliers") - venues, caterers, photographers, entertainers, and other service providers. We provide the tools to discover suppliers, request and negotiate quotations, book services, and confirm payment between the two parties. EventsRUs itself is not an event planning company, not a supplier, and not a party to any agreement a Planner and a Supplier reach with each other.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Accounts are created and signed into using Google Sign-In; you're responsible for keeping that Google account secure and for all activity under your EventsRUs account. Each person keeps a single identity on the Platform - once your account is set up as a Planner or a Supplier, you continue as that same identity (a Supplier account can complete supplier onboarding, but a single email doesn't get separate independent Planner and Supplier accounts). Provide accurate information when you register and when you update your profile.

3. Requesting quotations, negotiating, and booking

A Planner may request a quotation from a Supplier's storefront, or a Supplier may send one directly from an existing conversation. A Supplier's quotation - including the quoted amount, PDF, and any message - and every later revision are kept on record and remain visible to both parties as version history; nothing is silently overwritten. Either party may decline a quotation before it's accepted. Accepting a quotation locks it - it can no longer be revised, and any further change to a confirmed booking's scope or price is handled as a separate change request, not by editing the original quotation.

4. Payments are between the Planner and the Supplier

All payment transactions for event services - deposits, balances, refunds, or any other exchange of money - happen strictly between the Planner and the Supplier, using whatever payment method the Supplier has posted (such as a bank transfer or e-wallet QR code). EventsRUs does not collect, hold, process, or guarantee any such payment. To help both sides keep a record of what was agreed and paid, the Platform lets a Planner submit proof of payment and a Supplier confirm receipt and attach an invoice before a booking is treated as confirmed - this confirmation step is for the parties' mutual record-keeping and does not make EventsRUs a party to the payment, a payment processor, or an escrow or guarantor of funds.

Supplier subscription fees for using EventsRUs itself (if applicable to a Supplier's plan) are billed separately through our payment processor, PayPal, and are governed by PayPal's own terms in addition to these Terms.

5. Supplier responsibilities

Suppliers are solely responsible for the accuracy of the business information, pricing, packages, availability, and payment methods they post, and for delivering the services they agree to provide. Supplier-uploaded payment methods and identity/verification documents are held for review and only shown publicly (or marked Verified) once reviewed - that review indicates the submission was checked, not that EventsRUs guarantees, endorses, or is responsible for the Supplier's business, the destination account behind a posted payment method, or the quality of services rendered.

6. Planner responsibilities

Planners are responsible for the accuracy of the event details and payment proof they submit, and for paying Suppliers directly according to whatever was agreed between them. Submitting a payment screenshot is a representation to the Supplier that the payment was actually made - misrepresenting payment is a serious misuse of the Platform.

7. Optional Google Calendar sync (Suppliers)

A Supplier may optionally connect a Google Calendar account so that confirmed bookings are automatically added to it. This feature requires a separate consent step through Google, is entirely optional, and can be disconnected at any time from Account Settings - see our Privacy Policy for what data this involves. Your use of Google Calendar itself remains subject to Google's own terms of service; EventsRUs is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of Google Calendar or any disruption caused by Google's service.

8. Reviews

A Planner may leave a rating and review for a Supplier once they've had a completed booking together. Reviews must reflect a genuine experience with that Supplier - fabricated, incentivized, or retaliatory reviews are prohibited. EventsRUs may hide a review that violates this section, but reviewing content in general is not pre-moderated before it's published.

9. No guarantee of transactions

EventsRUs does not guarantee that any quotation, booking, payment, or agreement between a Planner and a Supplier will be honored by either party, or that a Supplier's services will meet a Planner's expectations. Planners and Suppliers are encouraged to verify each other's details independently and to communicate clearly before exchanging any payment or making firm commitments.

10. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to: impersonate another person or business; post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings, quotations, payment proof, or reviews; use the Platform to solicit or complete transactions unrelated to event planning; upload content you don't have the right to share, or that is unlawful, obscene, or infringing; attempt to circumvent the Platform's security, verification, or payment-confirmation features; or use automated means to scrape or access the Platform outside normal use.

11. Content you submit

You keep ownership of the content you upload (business listings, package photos, quotation PDFs, messages, reviews, and similar). By submitting it, you grant EventsRUs a license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content as needed to operate the Platform - for example, showing your storefront to Planners, or a quotation PDF to the Planner it was sent to.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. EventsRUs is not liable for any dispute, loss, or damage arising from a transaction, agreement, or interaction between a Planner and a Supplier, or from a Supplier's failure to deliver services or a Planner's failure to pay. To the fullest extent permitted by law, EventsRUs' total liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the amount (if any) you paid us directly in the twelve months before the claim arose.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, engages in fraud, or otherwise misuses the Platform. You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time - see our Privacy Policy for how to do that.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the proper courts of Quezon City, Philippines.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of EventsRUs after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
